PERSPECTIVES
Our Work in Action
Where ideas meet the real world.
We work alongside leaders and organizations to understand what's happening, strengthen the conditions around the work, and learn what becomes possible when people are given the opportunity to think and work differently.

FEATURED WORK
Strengthening the people who develop the next generation of nurses.
60+
organizations
3-Year
initiative
Preceptor development + systems change

The Arizona Nursing Preceptor Grant (Grant 1803) brought together more than 60 organizations around a shared challenge: strengthening the people who prepare nurses for practice.

This statewide initiative connected education, professional practice, leadership, and workforce development to strengthen the transition from education to practice and support nurses across their professional journey.

The work went beyond training. It examined the conditions surrounding preceptors—the time, support, relationships, psychological safety, and organizational practices that influence whether learning can actually take hold.

It also reinforced a principle at the heart of our work at L3 Fusion: leaders do not directly create outcomes; they create the conditions from which outcomes emerge.

The lessons from this work continue to inform how we think about leadership, learning, workforce sustainability, and what it takes to create change that lasts.
WHERE THE WORK TRAVELS
Ideas have a
way of traveling.
What we learn through our engagements often takes on new life - in the classroom, in conversations, and in resources that help leaders and teams put ideas into practice.

WHAT WE ARE LEARNING
Some lessons keep showing up.
Across different work, settings and organizations, certain themes continue to surface. They remind us to pause, look a little closer, and keep asking good questions.

People can only practice differently when the system makes different behavior possible.

Trust, connection and psychological safety aren't extras. They shape how work gets done.

The strongest development connects reflection and practice what people are actually experiencing.
Different work. Different settings. Many of the same questions.
