ABOUT L3 FUSION
We see
leadership
differently.
L3 Fusion brings together decades of healthcare leadership, systems thinking, operational experience, behavioral science, and the principles of complex adaptive systems to help leaders see differently, practice differently, and create healthier systems.
We understand organizations not as machines to be fixed, but as living systems shaped by relationships, behaviors, interactions, and the conditions leaders create.
See the system.
Shape what happens next.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
BETTER THINKING CHANGES WHAT
BECOMES POSSIBLE.
How we think shapes what we notice,
what we try, and what we create.
PRACTICE PRECEDES TRANSFORMATION
Better thinking shapes better practice. Better practice reshapes how we think.
CONDITIONS SHAPE WHAT BECOMES POSSIBLE.
How we lead shapes the conditions in which people, teams, and organizations perform.
LEADERSHIP BEGINS WITH WHAT WE STEWARD

Dr. Kathy Scott, PhD, RN, FACHE
Co-Founder, Partner | L3 Fusion
Most leaders are taught to focus on results.
My work focuses on the conditions from which results emerge.
Kathy's work is practical, evidence-informed, and grounded in small tests of change that produce meaningful, measurable improvement. Whether speaking, writing, coaching, or advising for more than four decades, Kathy has led, studied, and transformed complex healthcare systems through executive leadership, public policy, regulation, workforce development, and organizational transformation. Her work focuses on the human systems behind organizational performance - the often invisible forces shaping trust, accountability, learning, connection, culture, and results.
Drawing from behavioral, organizational, and systems sciences Kathy helps leaders understand why linear solutions so often fall short in environments shaped by constant interaction and change. Her work helps organizations move beyond quick fixes to create healthier conditions where people, teams, and communities can thrive. This is practical, evidence-informed work grounded in small tests of change and intentional practice.
She has served in executive nursing, operations, innovation, and integration roles; taught globally; served on multiple boards; and recently helped lead Arizona's $75 million statewide nursing workforce initiative. She is also the research mind behind the Amazon bestselling "Stupid Gone Viral: When Science and Reality Collide."

Co-Founder, Partner | L3 Fusion * Right Advisory
Some people solve problems.
I redesign the conditions that created them.
Bridget brings together finance, operations, psychology, organizational behavior, and executive leadership to help leaders and organizations move from complexity to clarity. Her career spans boardrooms and hospital hallways, finance and operations, leadership and culture. At L3 Fusion, she helps leaders and teams create the conditions where people can think more clearly, collaborate more effectively, and lead with confidence.
Her work is especially focused on translating systems thinking into practical action - helping leaders recognize patterns, challenge assumptions, reduce friction, and redesign the conditions producing today's outcomes. That operational lens complements the principles of complex adaptive systems: rather than assuming change can simply be mandated, Bridget helps organizations create environments where better decisions, behaviors, and outcomes can emerge.
Whether guiding a health system through transformation, helping leadership teams navigate change, or improving organizational performance, she believes meaningful transformation begins when people feel safe enough to think differently, ask better questions, and see the system differently.
She is also the co-author of the Amazon bestselling book "Stupid Gone Viral: When Science and Reality Collide," because curiosity has always been one of her favorite leadership tools.
